The Osječki polumaraton (Osijek Half Marathon) is a road running event held annually in the spring in Osijek, Croatia's fourth-largest city with a population of about 100,000, located near the borders with Serbia and Hungary.
The event kicks off with the 5k race on Friday evening. The half marathon and the 3x7km relay take place on Saturday morning.
Starting and finishing on Trg Svetog Trojstva (Holy Trinity Square), one of Osijek's oldest squares, the half marathon route takes the runners through a mix of urban and green areas and along both banks of the Drava river. The course is mainly flat.
