The Utrka Dolinom Kardinala ("Run along the Valley of the Cardinals") is a road running event held in the foothills of the Žumberak mountain range in Croatia.
Both races, the 11km run and the half marathon, begin and end in the pilgrimage village of Krašić (pictured) which is approximately fifty kilometres south-west of Zagreb.
Starting on the main square, near the Župna crkva Presvetog Trojstva (Parish church of the Holy Trinity), the route is very hilly, but worth it for the delightful rural scenery.
The route also passes the graceful Greek Catholic church in Pribić (pictured below).
The course is not closed to traffic during the race.
