The Sommernachtslauf München ("Summer Night Run Munich") takes place in the Olympiapark (Olympic Park) which was built for the Olympic Games 1972 in the city of Munich in Germany.

Two races are on offer, 5km (one lap) and 10km (two laps), both starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Olympiastadion (Olympic Stadium).

You can still decide during the race if you are going to run the 5k or the 10k.

The route passes the Olympiasee (Olympic Lake; pictured below) and many sports venues in the park.
