Ústí nad Labem (Czech Republic), Saturday 12 November 2016
Held on an out-and-back course along the beautiful valley of the Labe (German: Elbe), one of Central Europe's major rivers, the Ústecký maraton offers a half marathon and a full marathon.
The marathon is two laps of the half marathon course.
Starting on the edge of Ústí nad Labem, an industrial city in the northern part of Czechia, the race is run mainly on cycleways, with some shorter sections on public roads.
The route is somewhat undulating. The difference between the lowest and the highest point on the course is just 15 metres, but from start to finish the half marathon features 165 metres of ascent, the full marathon 330 metres.
