Landshut läuft ("Landshut runs") again on 24 April 2016 along the River Isar which flows through the city centre of Landshut, a beautiful old city of 65,000 people, situated in the Niederbayern (Lower Bavaria) region in southern Germany.

Three races are on offer — 5km (4.8km, to be precise), 10km (10.2km), and a 21.1km half marathon.

Starting and finishing on Mitterwöhr, an island in the Isar, the route runs on mixed terrain (gravel and asphalt) along the river, through lovely woods, and across three bridges.

The entry fees will be donated to charity.

In 2015, the event had a record 1,360 finishers.

Entries: online (up to 22 April 2016); late entries on 23 April 2016; no entries on the day; reduced entry fees for young athletes

You get: transponder timing, snacks and drinks on the course and at the finish, medal, shuttle bus service from the ‘Messeparkplatz’ car park (Niedermayerstraße 100); caps with the logo of the event are on sale for € 15
