This Lesní Běh ("Forest Run") takes place in the small town of Říčany which is situated just outside the city limits of Prague, capital of the Czech Republic.

Starting and finishing on the edge of town, all races are run on forest trails. The route is undulating to hilly, and some of the trails are rather narrow.

Men between 19 and 59 years of age run 11km (two laps) whereas women, juniors and older men run 5.7km (one lap).

The children's races are between 350m and 1,700m long.

Last year, 465 runners of all ages took part in the Lesní Běh.
