Starting and finishing on the edge of the industrial city of Ústí nad Labem, the Ústecký maraton offers a 10k race, a half marathon, and a full marathon.
All races are run out and back—mostly on cycleways—along the beautiful valley of the Labe (German: Elbe), one of Central Europe's major rivers.
The half marathon is one lap and the marathon is two laps of an undulating course which is IAAF/AIMS-certified. The difference between the lowest and the highest point on the course is just 15 metres, but overall the half marathon features 165 metres of ascent, the full marathon 330 metres.
The time limit to finish the race is 1 hour 15 minutes for the 10k and 5 hours for the marathon.
