The Kamenjski kros is the second of four relatively small cross-country running events that are held over the winter months in four different villages in the Primorska region in Slovenia.

The ‘Kamnje Cross’ is staged in the village of Kamnje pri Ajdovščini, which sits on the northern slopes of the fruit- and wine-growing Vipava Valley.

The race distance depends on the age of the competitor:

  • 300m-2km: children
  • 4km: juniors (1999-1996)
  • 6km: men (1969 and older); women (1995 and older)
  • 8km: men (1995-1970)
