9th ‘Cross in the Vrtojba Bilje Hills’ 2014

The Kros Vrtojbensko Biljenski griči is the first in a series of four cross-country running events that take place between November and March in four different rural locations in Slovenia's Primorska region.
Held in the lovely vineyards of the Vrtojba Bilje Hills near the border with Italy, the event gives runners of all ages the opportunity to test their shape and build up stamina for the coming running season.
The race distance you run depends on your age category:
- 300m-2km: children
- 4km: juniors (1999-1996)
- 6km: men (1969 and older); women (1995 and older)
- 8km: men (1995-1970)
All routes are very hilly and scenic. The 6k consists of three laps, the 8k is four laps.
