The Lausitzer Seenland 100 offers a summer weekend of sports for runners, walkers, cyclists, swimmers, inline skaters, and kickbike riders.

The event is held in the Lausitzer Seenland (Lusatian Lakeland), a former East German coal mining area which is being transformed into Europe's largest artificial lakeland region.

Runners can choose between various flat road races for all ages and abilities, from a 400m run for children up to the 42.2km marathon.

All races are run out and back, except for the half marathon which is a point-to-point run. The start/finish area is at the brand-new marina of Senftenberg, an old town of 25,000 people, situated on the shores of the Senftenberger See.

In 2013, the event welcomed more than 2000 participants.
