The 3-day Tatry Running Tour is held in the beautiful Tatra National Park in Slovakia. Participants can choose to run individual stages or the whole tour.

All races are multi-terrain loops, which start and finish at the "Panorama Resort Hotel" in Štrbské Pleso, Slovakia's highest resort, situated at 1350 metres above sea level.
The first stage is a short, mildly undulating summer evening run around a glacial lake. The second and the third stage, however, are very hilly, mostly on forest trails.
Last year's 1st Tatry Running Tour had just about 50 participants from four countries, but the organizers expect many more runners in 2012. As the event takes place in the Tatra National Park, stage two and three are limited to 200 runners.
In 2011, the winners were Czech athletes Tomáš Ondráček and Sárka Macháčková. Slovakia's Marcel Matanin-Konečný won the green jersey for the best climber.
