13th International Parndorf 10K Road Running Race 2012

This 10K road race features a very flat and fast course, which is AIMS-certified.
Competitors run three laps through the village of Parndorf, situated in Austria's low-lying Burgenland province, between Vienna, Bratislava and Lake Neusiedl.
In addition to the 10km race the event offers a 3.3km run, a 6km nordic walking competition, as well as shorter children's races.
The Parndorfer Strassenlauf is a truly international race which has welcomed many top runners from various countries, in particular from Hungary and Slovakia.
In 2011, Elisha Kiprotich Sawe of Kenya set a new course record of 30min 39sec. Hungary's Zita Kácser celebrated victory in the women's race in 38min 18sec.

Prizes: trophies to the first 3 in each category; prize money to the first 3 M/F in the 10km race (75-40-25 euros); prize money for a new course record in the 10km race (75 euros)
