The Zirbitzkogel Berglauf is a relatively small but very attractive uphill trail race in Austria's province of Styria. The finish line is on top of the 2397-metre Zirbitzkogel.

The route is 10 kilometres long. It includes approximately 1100 metres of climbing.

The start is in the village of Sankt Anna am Lavantegg, situated at 1300 metres above sea level on the eastern slopes of the mountain.

The first half of the route runs through forests to the Waldheimhütte mountain hut. Then, competitors run through vast pastures. The steepest part of the course is the final climb to the mountain hut on the Zirbitzkogel.

After the race, participants walk back to the Waldheimhütte, from where a bus takes them to the pasta party and award ceremony in Sankt Anna.

In 2011, the top finishers were Samson Mungai Kagia of Kenya (56:41) and Austria's Karin Freitag (1:12:48).
