Over 3000 runners took part in last year's Night Run through Hungary's capital city Budapest.

The event features lots of music, dance, fun, and a firework display before the start at 9pm. To get an impression of the event have a look at the promotional video provided by the race organization.

The course is 6.5 kilometres long, traffic-free and well lit. Start and finish is on Roosevelt tér, a spacious square on the River Danube. Participants run across the monumental Széchenyi Chain Bridge and past a number of beautifully illuminated landmarks of Budapest.

In 2009, the winners were Balázs Csillag (19:22) and Renáta Fuchs (23:37).
