The Hvarski polumaraton (Hvar Half Marathon) is a road running event held annually on the Adriatic Sea island of Hvar in the Dalmatia region in Croatia.

Hvar can be reached by ferry from the Dalmatian coast or from Italy.

Starting in one of Europe's oldest towns, the port of Stari Grad, and finishing at the harbour of Hvar Town (pictured), the route includes over 400 metres of ascent, and the same of descent.

The first twelve kilometres are mainly uphill, the remaining nine kilometres downhill.

The course offers stunning panoramic views over Hvar and neigbouring islands.
