At the end of July 2011 a new interesting multi-terrain running event for runners of all abilities will be held on the slopes of the High Tatras, an impressive mountain range on the Slovakia-Poland border. The High Tatras (Vysoké Tatry) boast 17 peaks over 2500 metres.

The Tatry Running Tour takes place on the Slovak side of the range, at elevations between 1000 and 1450 metres above sea level. The event offers three races:

Participants can choose to run one, two, or all three stages of the tour.

All races start and finish at the "Panorama Resort Hotel" in Štrbské Pleso, the Tatra's highest resort, situated at 1350 metres above sea level.

The first stage is a short, mildly undulating summer evening run around a glacial lake. The second and the third stage, however, are very hilly, mostly on forest trails.

All races will start and finish at the Panorama Resort Hotel.

Race centre: at the start (Friday 18.00-19.30, Saturday and Sunday 9.00-9.30)

You get: refreshments, runners' party on Saturday afternoon, entry into the post-race prize drawing
