This trail running event in Slovenia promises a nice day out at the thermal spa of Terme Krka in Šmarješke Toplice, a small village amid the rolling hills of the Dolenjska region.

The venue is located about half-way between Ljubljana and Croatia's capital Zagreb.

The event comprises an 8k and a 2k race, children's races, and a guided walk ("pohod") into the nearby vineyards.

The start/finish area is in the park of the spa. The first 800 metres are on asphalt. The 8k race follows an attractive, shady, undulating route through the park and the woods to the south.

On the day of the event, participants get free entry to the spa's outdoor pools.

In 2009, the winners of the 8k race were Primož Kobe (26:17) and Martina Culiberg (32:48).
