The Cjaminade di Sante Lussie (‘Saint Lucy's Walk’) takes place annually in December in Gemona del Friuli, a picturesque old town located at the foot of the Julian Alps.

It is one of the many running and walking events which are held every weekend under the auspices of the FIASP sports federation (Federazione Italiana Amatori Sport Per Tutti) in towns and villages all over Italy. These very popular non-competitive events usually attract at least several hundred participants of all ages and fitness levels, sometimes several thousand.

In 2023, the Cjaminade di Sante Lussie offers four scenic routes, approximately 5km, 7km, 14km and 20km long.

The entry fees are the same for all four routes. Participants can still decide on the course which route they want to take.

The 20k features a very hilly multi-terrain loop course which includes more than 500 metres of ascent.
