Szaggasd az aszfaltot! ("Grind the asphalt!") is a running event held annually in October on a very beautiful bike path through Zala County in western Hungary.
The course is a flat out and back through lovely countryside and pretty villages, and it offers the possibility to clock a fast 10km or half marathon time.
Fun runners and families may prefer to take part in the 3km run. Children run 500m.
The starting and ending point for all races is at the railway station of the village of Bagod, which is approximately nine kilometres from the city of Zalaegerszeg.
