Held on an out-and-back course along the valley of the Labe (German: Elbe), one of Central Europe's major rivers, the Ústecký maraton offers a full marathon, a half marathon and a 5k race.

The 42.2km marathon is two laps of the half marathon course.

Starting on the edge of Ústí nad Labem, an industrial city in the northern part of the Czech Republic, the race is run mainly on bike paths, with some shorter sections on public roads.

The route is a bit undulating. The difference between the lowest and the highest point on the course is 15 metres.

The time limit to finish the marathon is five hours.

The event was last held on Saturday 26 October 2019.
