The City Run Eisenstadt (until 2016 known as Landhauslauf Eisenstadt) is a running event held in the capital of the Burgenland state in Austria.

Eisenstadt is, with just about 15,000 inhabitants, the smallest of Austria's nine provincial capitals. Accordingly, the City Run is a rather small city run. It attracts approximately 300 participants in six races:

  • 500m Kids Run
  • 1km Kids Run
  • 2.2km Fun Run
  • 4.4km
  • 4.4km Nordic Walking
  • 11km

The event features a pleasant setting and a scenic 2.2km loop course through the town centre, starting and finishing on Hauptstraße, the pedestrianized main street (pictured below).

Each lap, runners pass the imposing Schloss Esterházy (pictured above).

The route is a bit undulating.

As far as we know, the event was last held on 30 September 2018.
