Held in the lagoon city of Venice in Italy, the Su e Zo per i Ponti di Venezia is a non-competitive event without timekeeping or results lists.

It attracts 10,000 or more walkers and fun runners every year, so the course can get rather crowded.

The route changes from year to year. In 2016, the route will be approximately 11km long. Participants will walk or run up and down 36 of Venice's bridges. As in the years before, the route will begin and end on the magnificent Piazza San Marco.

The event also features a 6km run for school children and a folk group parade (at 12 noon).
