Organized by the athletics club LCC Wien, this 10k road running race is held on a very flat and fast, traffic-free and AIMS-certified course in Vienna's Prater park.

The route consists of two 3km loops and an out-and-back run along the Prater Hauptallee, the main avenue through the park.

Participants run through woods and parkland, and they pass the ‘Wurstelprater’ amusement park with its famous Giant Ferris Wheel (pictured).

In 2012, approximately 150 runners took part in the race. The winners were Lukas Maukner (35:14) and Helen Pickford (42:36).
