Every year, Su e Zo per i Ponti di Venezia attracts around 10,000-12,000 runners and hikers of all ages to the lagoon city of Venice in northern Italy.

"Up and down the bridges of Venice" is not a race, it's a non-competitive fun run without timekeeping or results lists. However, every finisher receives a medal, and prizes are awarded to the largest groups. The event also includes a contest for costumed folk groups.

The route is a 12-kilometre loop which crosses 48 bridges. The start and the finish are on the grand Piazza San Marco in the heart of Venice.
