5th "Grind the asphalt!" 2012

Held on a long-distance bikeway through Zala County in western Hungary, the "Saggasd az aszfaltot!" is a lovely running event for runners of all abilities. Around 250 runners took part in last year's event.

The flat and fast out-and-back course through pretty countryside and villages offers ambitious athletes the possibility to run a fast half marathon or 10K time. Fun runners and families may prefer to take part in the 3km run.

Start and finish are in the village of Bagod, near the city of Zalaegerszeg. The route runs westwards towards the village of Zalalövő.
