Petelinje Race 2009

 

The 12km Petelinje Race will take you through some beautiful and thinly populated landscape with one of Slovenia's most unusual natural phenomena. You will run along three 'intermittent' lakes, which disappear seasonally in underground limestone caverns in the Karst.

The undulating route is partly on asphalt but most of the time on good dirt roads and trails.

Children will run some laps around the village. There will also be a guided walk of about three hours starting at 2pm.
