Half Marathon of the municipality of Brugnera - Alto Livenza
After the Maratonina Isontina on March 1st this is the second race of the 'Half Marathon Cup 2009', a series of six half marathons in Italy, Slovenia and Croatia.
It's a mostly flat and fast route through the municipality of Brugnera which is well-known for its Alto Livenza wines.
For a race fee of 5 EUR on the day (including the race pack) you can take part in the non-competitive half marathon or the 10km run.
In 2008, 631 runners crossed the finish line. The top overall finisher was Said Boudalia in 1:05:00, while Sonia Conceicao Lopes led the women home in 1:18:13.
