17th Pinkafeld Town Run 2009

Pinkafeld is a small town amid the rolling hills of the Burgenland, the easternmost of the provinces of Austria. Its proximity to Hungary - the border is just 40km away - has meant that Hungarians have been regular visitors to the 10km Stadtlauf in the town centre of Pinkafeld. Hungarians also hold impressive course records: Zsolt Benedek ran 28:01 in the year 2001, and Eva Doczi 31:37 back in 1995.

The 17th edition of the race will be held on Easter Monday and lots of locals are expected to line the 2.5km lap course to cheer you on. Instead of the 10k, you could also form a team of three and run 5k each to count in the business run, or take your nordic walking poles and walk two laps.
