15th Cherry Blossom Panorama Race 2009

 

In spring, it's all about flowering cherry trees in the area around Purbach, a village just 4km from the western shore of Lake Neusiedl.

In addition to the 11.5km main race, which travels on undulating roads through the appealing "Kirschblütenregion" towards the village of Donnerskirchen, the event offers a 4k "Beginners" race and a 4k nordic walking tour.

In 2008, the winners were Martin Gansterer (40:40) and Klaudia Meisterhofer (45:12).
