The Ulten Valley Farm Run (German: Ultner Höfelauf; Italian: Corsa dei masi della Val d'Ultimo) is a multi-terrain running event held yearly in the summer in the autonomous province of South Tyrol (German: Südtirol; Italian: Alto Adige) in the far north of Italy.

The start and the finish are in the village of Kuppelwies (Italian: Pracupola) which sits at an elevation of 1,145 metres in the 40-kilometre-long Ulten Valley (German: Ultental; Italian: Val d'Ultimo), a green alpine valley that leads from Lana (near the spa town of Merano), to the foot of the impressive Ortler Alps.

Almost everybody living in the Ulten Valley is a native speaker of German.

The event offers the following race distances:

  • 50m - 500m - 1km for children
  • 8km for runners
  • 8.5km for hikers and nordic walkers
  • 18km for runners

Participants in the 8km race run one lap around a reservoir, the Zoggler-Stausee (Italian: Lago di Zoccolo). The course is a bit undulating (33 metres of ascent).

The 18km route consists of a loop through the valley beween Kuppelwies and St. Gertraud (Italian: Santa Gertrude), passing many picturesque wooden farm buildings. The course includes almost 500 metres of ascent.

Entrants to the 18km race must be in possession of a valid medical certificate for athletics if they are not registered with a sports club that is affiliated to an athletics federation recognized by the IAAF.
