The Pilsen Trail Radeč Maraton is a running event held annually since 2015 in the wooded hills of the Plzeň Region in the Czech Republic.

It features three very scenic and challenging trail races:

  • 7.5km (+200m of ascent)
  • 21km half marathon (+600m of ascent)
  • 48km (+1,370m of ascent)

Both the ultramarathon and the half marathon routes take the runners up and down the Radeč ridge, visiting the ruins of a medieval castle.

The start/finish area is at the campsite Veselý Habr near the village of Volduchy in the Rokycany District, about 25 kilometres from the city of Plzeň (Pilsen) and 70 kilometres from the capital Praha (Prague).

The event also offers three races for children (350m, 800m and 1,600m).

In 2020, the Pilsen Trail Radeč Maraton had to be cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions, and it won't be held in 2021 either.
