Friuli's largest half marathon race is now open to runners from all countries.
It is not restricted any more to athletes from Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and the Austrian state of Carinthia.
However, entrants need to provide a medical certificate for athletics and buy a FIDAL RunCard (€15, valid for one year) if they are not registered with a recognized sports club.
The entry limit is 4,000 runners. Almost 2,900 runners completed the flat and fast course last year. The top finishers were Rok Puhar of Slovenia (1:08:47) and Teresa Montrone of Italy (1:16:16).
