The Hanácký půlmaraton is held in Olomouc, an old city of about 100,000 inhabitants, situated in the agricultural Haná region in Moravia in the Czech Republic.

The event features a 21.1km half marathon and a 1km run for children.

Starting and finishing at the athletics track of the Atletický Klub Olomouc, the half marathon consists of seven laps through the adjacent Bezručovy sady, one of the three parks that encircle Olomouc's beautiful historic centre.

Last year, the race had 131 finishers. The winners were Daniel Roško (1:16:33) and Petra Kamínková (1:23:13).

This year, the event will incorporate the Moravian and Silesian Half Marathon Championships.
