Fužine Half Marathon ‘Three Lakes’ 2014

The Fužinarski polumaraton ("Fužine Half Marathon") features an undulating and very scenic route which visits ‘Tri jezera’ ("Three Lakes") in the Gorski kotar, a thinly-populated mountainous region near the Adriatic coast in Croatia.

In addition to the half marathon, the event offers a 7km run and a kids' race.

All races begin and end in the village of Fužine at the southern tip of the Bajer reservoir, a popular tourist destination located on the motorway (and on the railway line) from Croatia's capital Zagreb to the port of Rijeka.

In 2013, the half marathon winners were Tamás Nagy (1:11:24) and Tünde Szabó (1:21:52), both of Hungary. The time limit to finish the race is 2hr 15min.
