Around 800 runners completed last year's 10k Four Bridges Night Run (Slovene: Tek štirih mostov), and even more are expected to take part in the race this year.

The event takes place in Škofja Loka, one of Slovenia's oldest and most appealing small towns, situated at the foot of densely wooded hills between Ljubljana and the Julian Alps.

Starting at 9.30pm on Škofja Loka's picturesque main square, participants run two laps (ca. 3.8km + 6.2km) of an undulating course which takes them through the Old Town, through residential and rural areas, and across two rivers and four bridges.

Last year, the fastest finishers were Peter Oblak (32:42) and Neja Kršinar (38:28).
