The Mörbischer Lauftag is a rather small event, held in a lovely location on the western shore of Austria's largest lake — the Neusiedler See.

All races (half marathon, 5km run, and children's races) start and finish in the very pretty village of Mörbisch am See which sits on the Austria-Hungary border.

The 5k race is six laps through the village, whereas the half marathon consists of four laps of a mostly flat course through vineyards close to the shore.
