The Halbmarathon München in the city of Munich features a half marathon, a 10km race, a 5km fun run, and children's races.

Starting and finishing at the Olympic Stadium (pictured), the route is a 5km loop through the Olympiapark which was built for the Olympic Games 1972 and which is home to a large number of sports venues.

The half marathon is four laps, followed by a 1.1km loop.

The course is undulating, certified, traffic-free, and entirely on asphalt.

Last year, more than 1500 runners took part in the event. The half marathon had 863 finishers.
