This multi-terrain running event offers two races (3km and 10km) as well as an 8km walk along the seafront of Warnemünde, one of Germany's most attractive Baltic Sea resorts.

Located on the edge of the port of Rostock, Warnemünde features wide sandy beaches, elegant 19th-century villas, a quaint old town, and an old fishing harbour.

Starting and finishing on the athletics track near the beach, participants run (or walk) on the paved Seepromenade, on cycleways and footpaths, and on forest trails up and down to the Küstenwald ("Coastal Forest") on the Stoltera cliffs which rise up to 20 metres at the highest point.

Participants in the 10k race run out and back to the lighthouse (pictured), and then two loops to the cliffs.

Last year, the event had approximately 600 finishers.
