Held on a beautiful long-distance cycleway through Zala County in western Hungary, the ‘Szaggasd az aszfaltot!’ is a lovely running event for runners of all abilities. Around 250 runners took part in the event last year.

The flat out-and-back course takes runners through pretty countryside and villages and offers the possibility to run a fast half marathon or 10k time. Fun runners and families may prefer to take part in the 3k run. Children run 500m.

The start and the finish are in the village of Bagod, near the city of Zalaegerszeg. The route runs westwards towards the village of Zalalövő.
