This beautiful trail running race in the province of Verona in northern Italy features an immensely scenic 33km point-to-point course. The route is very hilly and challenging. Overall, it includes almost 2000 metres of climbing.

Participants run from the picturesque wine-producing village of Soave, located about 25 kilometres east of the city of Verona at the foot of the Venetian Prealps, northwards (and mostly uphill) to the small mountain village of Bolca.

The finish line is at an elevation of 800 metres at the outstanding Museo dei Fossili, which is well known for its beautifully-preserved 50-million-year-old fish fossils.

Most of the route is on trails and gravel roads. Some sections are on asphalt roads.
