Start of the Hochpustertal Run is in Innichen in South Tyrol, Italy.

The Hochpustertal Run starts in Italy and finishes in Austria. Over 400 runners from 10 countries took part in the event last year.

Registrants can choose to run the 12.1km "Classic Run" or the half marathon.

The race is held on a cycleway along the Hochpustertal—a green alpine valley in the Eastern Dolomites, situated at an elevation of over 1000 metres.

The start is in the resort of Innichen (Italian: San Candido) in Italy's autonomous province of South Tyrol, where most people speak German as a first language. The finish line is in the small town of Sillian in East Tyrol, Austria.

Participants in the 12.1km race run directly from Innichen to Sillian, whereas the half marathoners carry on running to the village of Tassenbach, from where they cruise back to Sillian. From start to finish, the route drops about 100 metres in elevation.
