19th Olympic Marathon and Half Marathon Relay 2012

Over 5,200 runners took part in last year's Olimpiai maraton és félmaraton váltó, a very atmospheric running event in Hungary's capital city Budapest.
The event offers a marathon relay (6x7km), a half marathon relay (3x7km), a minimarathon relay (3x2.1km) and a half marathon for individual runners.
The start and the finish are at the magnificent Hungarian Parliament Building.
The course is a 7032.5m loop which takes runners out and back along the Danube and around the Parliament Building.
In 2011, the fastest male marathon relay team finished in 2:17:19, the best female team in 3:01:58.
