22nd New Year's Run Dolsko 2011

The Novoletni tek in Dolsko, a village on the River Sava near Slovenia's capital city Ljubljana, is held every year on 26 December.

The event offers three distances:

14.5km: Only men up to 49 years old can take part in this race. The route consists of a flat 4K loop in the valley, followed by an up-and-down loop in the hills to the north of Dolsko. Most of the course is on asphalt roads.

10.5km: This distance is for women (all age categories) and for men aged 50 years and over. The start is at the 4K mark of the long race.

4.5km: The 4.5K fun run, which follows a flat out-and-back course, is open to all runners but it's the least popular distance. Last year, it had just four finishers.
