10th Ormož Half Marathon 2011

This road running event in eastern Slovenia comprises a half marathon, a 10K run, and children's races. Last year's races attracted around 250 runners.

The start and finish are on the athletics track in Ormož, a small town that sits on a terrace above the River Drava, on the border with Croatia.

The route is a mildly undulating out-and-back course along the Lešnica valley, which runs northwards through the wine-growing Slovenske gorice hills.

In 2010, the half marathon winners were Mario Vračić (1:12:15) and Ida Šurbek (1:26:49).
